First, I need to tell you that we changed our puppy’s name to “Min.” I think you knew that we weren’t quite set on “Daisy,” and for the few weeks after we got her we thought about many different names. It was hard to come to consensus with four people involved in the naming! At one point we discussed “Minna” and started calling her that but two of us weren’t happy…so we all finally agreed on “Min.” And she definitely knows her name. “MIn” is an Irish name that means “smooth, fine, and small.” Min is all of these things. She is a very smart dog. She already knows how to sit, lie down, stand-up, shake, roll over, wipe her nose, and when you point your hand like a gun and say “BANG,” she falls down dead. Nan taught her all these things. She’s a very quick learner and Nan is a great teacher. She loves squeaky toys and balls especially. She loves it when we throw mini tennis balls for her. Min is loads of fun, and she is also really sweet. A real winner!
She loved the beach in July, and now we are by a lake and she has loved walking in the woods, riding in the motor boat, and wading in the lake. There was another puppy here just a bit older and the two would run round and round. All great. We hope she won’t be depressed getting back to the city. She definitely likes to be where we are, so that may help.
We all love Min. Even my husband, who wasn’t so sure about getting a dog, is crazy about Min. We all are.
Thank you! Hello to Bill.
