Riesen is doing amazingly well! He was at the vet today and weighed in at 103 pounds! The vet says he is at the perfect weight for him with good muscle definition. He is very pleased with Riesen’s development.
Riesen goes to camp every week and the staff there love him. He is so good with people, once he gets over his youthful exuberance, and they love to see him. The camp staff use him to interview any new pups. They say he is very calm and dependable when meeting new friends.
I am just now beginning to work on preparing him for therapy dog training. He has all the basic stuff down pat and we are ready to turn toward the advanced stuff. Maybe next time there will be a photo of him wearing an official vest!
