Lulu was born on Labor Day 2007 to Jasmine and Nicki.
She has worked most of her life as an AKC-certified therapy dog, volunteering in nursing homes and hospice facilities. At home Lulu is a wild child, but when she goes to work she seems to enter a Zen state, ready to be held and petted.
In May, Lulu entered her first (and only) dog show in the community where we live. In front of over a hundred people, she pranced across the stage and wowed the crowd by jumping through a hoop, a trick she learned for graduation from puppy kindergarten all those years ago. No surprise that she was judged Best in Show.
